О фильме:
В российской глубинке, у станции Сафьяново, на железнодорожном переезде, работает Зина Кудряшова. За необычайное сходство с легендарной Голливудской звездой, местные жители прозвали её Монро. Да и сама Зина уверена, что это знак судьбы. Сафьяновские мужики от Зинки балдеют, бабы не находят себе места, а подруги не могут понять, - почему она до сих пор одна? Но Зина, - то ли в шутку, то ли всерьёз говорит, что ждёт принца, - и уж точно это не Вася, - машинист локомотива, ни шофёр самосвала Лёха. Правда есть ещё Сергей, - он недавно тут, работает на местной лесопилке, - мужик надёжный, одинокий, серьёзный, - и в дочурке его девятилетней Зина души не чает, - так что вроде бы всё могло сложиться, но…. Но дни летят, как скорые поезда, а Зина всё ждёт кого-то. И этот кто-то появляется. Жизнь Монро, да и всего Сафьяново, переворачивается, когда однажды на переезд въезжает чёрный джип…
