О фильме:
Афганистан. 1987 год. Появившиися у моджахедов переносные зенитные комплексы "Стингер" грозят положить конец господству в воздухе советской авиации. Командир разведбата майор Оковалков получает задание добыть образец этого нового оружия. Для этого ему необходимо захватить небольшой караван. Однако караван оказывается огромным, с хорошо вооруженной охраной. Поняв, что операция провалена, Оковалко принимает решение переждать прохождение колонны и вернуться в часть, но его планы нарушает автоматная очередь, случайно выпущенная молодым неопытным солдатом...
