Молодой человек живет вполне обыденной скучной жизнью. Провинциальный городок, две работы, денег вечно не хватает, физический недостаток - жизнь превращается в существование и выживание. Стоит-ли жить? Фильм снят в серых тонах зимних бесснежных дней и мрачных холодных ночей. Режиссер прекрасно соединил драматизм бытия человека и маленькие радости, присутствующие в жизни каждого. Даже после сцен юмора в душе остается смутный осадок, ибо все персонажи одиноки, каждый по-своему, и все ищут свой ответ.
